you ever feel like getting out on the ski slopes, waterways, golf
course or bike trails, but don't really have anyone to go with you when
you are available? Maybe it's your day off, but your friends cannot go.
That's why we started the SSC MEETUP page, so you can post activities
that other members might enjoy too.

Hershey Park: SSC would like to thank all of you who supported us in our recent Hershey Park Ticket Fundraiser which ran February-April. The final report is in: We sold 66 tickets. Those of you who bought tickets paid
almost half of what a ticket at the door would cost, and in the process, SSC earned $132 for our club. And, there is still a
chance for you and/or your family and friends to earn free Hershey Park tickets by getting on the email list and working
volunteer shifts in the Park or Giant Center in the following departments: Food & Beverage, Rides, Games, Front Gate,
Zoo Bridge or Parking Lot Attendant. For each shift a Volunteer works you can earn 1 to 3 vouchers for admittance to
Hershey Park and SSC gets paid $8/hr for each hour you work. If you are not already on the volunteer email list,
email Lovena Nickle at lovnic53@comcast.net and ask her to sign you up!!!
Weekend Rides & Hikes As the ski runs turn from beautiful white trails to chocolate looking mud and you put your skis and ski boots away, it is time to pull out your bike and hiking shoes. Join the Email riders when Mother Nature is kind enough to send great weekend weather our way and the group ventures out to hike or bike some of the wonderful trails in our area. Everyone is encouraged to proceed at a comfortable pace and distance. The group is made up of a full range of riders and hikers. There are the Speedy Gonzales, down to the “Smell the Roses” riders and hikers. Everyone regardless of skill or stamina will be welcome. Each week, Mike Gavin sends out information on the upcoming rides and hikes, giving a brief description and directions to the starting point. For more information, contact Mike at emailriders1@comcast.net. Hope to see you on the trail! |
