Join SSC for another Volunteer Day at the Central PA Food Bank. Come join fellow SSC members as we volunteer at the food bank. We will be packing boxes full of food for one of their many programs. All volunteers need to be 14 years of age or older. Bring your family members to help support a worthy cause. Volunteers are the lifeblood of the charitable food distribution network and they need our help to be able to support our neighbors in need. Thank you so much for participating! The sign-up link to register for this event will be sent out in an eblast to members in early October.The food bank is located at 3908 Corey Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. (Look for yard signs and a large feather flag marking the Volunteer Entrance). Volunteer parking is available in the front lot. Please avoid spots marked for agency pick-up near the garage doors. Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited. Please note: This is an active warehouse, so please be mindful of large delivery vehicles when parking and walking through the parking lot.
