Be the ultimate weekend warrior on August 5th as the Ski Club goes out and plays for the day.
We are setting up our base camp at the Falmouth Boat Launch (111 Collins Road, Bainbridge, PA) as we explore the area on foot, in kayaks, and on bikes. Meet at the Falmouth Boat Launch at 10 am on Saturday, August 5th.
Kayakers can explore a unique phenomenon, the Conewago Potholes (look it up), where the river has carved fascinating forms in the rocks around the launch site. They are a very easy paddle from the boat launch. PA boat registration required.
Bikers can explore the 15 mile long Northwest Lancaster River Trail riding at their own pace and distance. Not only does the ride include sweeping views of the Susquehanna river, but also along the trail are the surreal White Cliffs of Conoy and an eagle's nest.
Hikers can explore the Potholes climbing among the rocks or hiking the Northwest Lancaster River Trail.
Can’t decide? No problem, pick one to do in the morning, then enjoy a picnic lunch (grilled hot dogs provided by the ski club, please bring something to share) and then pick another fun activity for the afternoon.
