Delighted and Thankful -- delighted for cooler weather, fall activities, ski club gatherings and more importantly, thankful for our Veterans and thankful for our friends. 

The annual Get-Acquainted Party will be at Roundtop Mountain Resort this year! We are excited about this new venue -- please check out the event's web page under Social Events for a complete understanding of the change to our annual Get-Acquainted Party. This will be a great opportunity to connect with other members of Susquehanna Ski Club and bring along some new members. I hope that some of you will be wearing our new apparel which you can purchase through our new online store. Thanks to Sherry Predix for facilitating this program.

Excitement abounds with the announcements of an adventure trip to Costa Rica (May 12-22, 2026) and a fall trip to Sonoma/National Parks (October 5 - 13, 2026). We listen to you at our meetings and are working hard to blend ski trips and non- ski trips for all of you. The trip committee is also working on our ski trips for 2027 so if you have comments and ideas please share them with me. Thanks to all trip committee members for their research.

Thanks to all of our volunteers on board, and a special shout-out to new member Kim Bradeen for the recent golf outing and to the wonderful tour of the Gettysburg Battle Field by Mark LaManna with the email riders! Welcome to an exciting season for Susquehanna Ski Club. We appreciate volunteerism on the board - so please step up.

Final reminder that for our membership meetings in November and December we collect food items for the Central PA Food Bank. Please bring an item or two.
