Get-Acquainted Party (GAP)

Members age 21 and older only please!

SSC’s traditional free-to-members party celebrating the start of a new ski season! We are returning to the Dillsburg American Legion location with new music. We have decided to go with a professional DJ!! We are coming up with a playlist to keep your feet moving on the dance floor. This year’s GAP sponsors (thank you!!) are Myshin, Kravitz & Miller; Better Homes & Gardens, Capital Area Real Estate, Ted Biedrzycki; Law Offices of Patrick F Lauer Jr, LLC; World Cup Ski & Cycle, Accel Innovations Corporation, Mountainside Ski & Sports and Uller’s Outdoor.

The party starts at 6:00 and goes to 10:00 PM in the main banquet hall at the Dillsburg American Legion. The club will provide plenty of food and refreshments to keep you energized on the dance floor. Bring your friends, neighbors, acquaintances - join or renew your membership now via the SSC website or at the door that evening. Please take note or you'll miss all the fun! As always, volunteers are needed for this event. Look in your email for an invite from Volunteer Sign-up Genius to sign up to help. Thanks to Rusty Diamond for setting up the Sign-up Genius. If you’re interested in volunteering a half hour or more of your time, just fill out the information in the email and select your spot(s). Volunteer early for prime shifts! Your help is appreciated. PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

• The event starts at 6:00 PM. Please do not arrive prior to 5:45!

• Park in lot behind or beside the building

• Entrance is on side door marked Ballroom

• Dinner buffet begins at 6:30

• Water, soda, tea and coffee will be offered

• DJ will begin playing at 7:15 – 7:30

• There will be a TV available in small room next to entrance (Penn State vs Rutgers away)

• No alcohol can be taken out of the building

• Beer and wine will be served, but after our set limit, a cash bar will be available
