Trip Details:   Join SSC for an Alaskan cruise and land adventure. August 25, 2023 we will fly to Vancouver, British Columbia.  We will stay two nights at the Opus Hotel, a boutique hotel in downtown Vancouver. A welcome drink, daily full breakfast and a $100.00 CAN food and beverage credit per room is included. On August 28, 2023 we will board the Holland America Nieuw Amsterdam ship to sail the inside passage.  August 29, 2023 we dock in Ketchikan, Alaska from 7:00am to 3:00pm.  August 30, 2023 we will be in Juneau, Alaska from 10:00am to 10:00pm and on August 31, 2023 we will dock in Skagway, Alaska from 7:00am to 9:00pm.  September 1, 2023 we will see the scenic Glacier Bay where  we will cruise the ice-studded fjords for 8 hours as a Park Service Ranger narrates. September 2, 2023 we will cruise past College Fjord from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. We will arrive in Whittier on September 3, 2023.  We will take the domed rail cars of the McKinley Explorer to the McKinley Chalet Resort in Denali National Park where we will stay for three nights. While in Denali we will  take the Tundra Wilderness Tour to get an up-close view of the mountains and view wildlife one day and we will have a day on your own to experience the park. September 6, 2023 we will board a motor coach to travel to Anchorage where we will stay one night. On September 7, 2023 we will take an overnight flight home.

Lodging:  Two nights at the Opus Hotel in Vancouver, BC; eleven nights Holland America triple Denali northbound cruise and land tour, which includes three nights at the McKinley Chalet Resort. Hotel in Anchorage is to be determined by Holland America.

Features Included (Meals, Side Trips, Etc.):  Standard trip package includes all ground transportation, air travel from Newark to Vancouver and from Anchorage to Newark on Alaska Air, 2 nights lodging at the Opus Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia, including welcome beverage, daily full breakfast and a $100CAD per room food and beverage credit, 11-night Triple Denali Northbound Alaska Cruise and Land Tour on the Holland America, Nieuw Amsterdam, 3 nights stay at McKinley Chalet Resort, Tundra Wilderness Tour in Denali National Park, ride on the McKinley Explorer domed rail car and one night stay in Anchorage.  Ports include Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Whittier, Alaska. Cruise accommodation includes all meals onboard, entertainment and a full activities program. Ground transportation in Vancouver and Anchorage are included as well as all taxes and port fees included. 

Not Included: Airline checked baggage fees are NOT included in the basic package price. The cruise automatically charges gratuities which will be added to your account and charged to your credit card on the last day of the cruise. Current charges for Veranda stateroom or lower is $16 per cabin per night, and $17.50 per cabin per night for suites. Alcoholic beverages, soda and internet are not included on the cruise.  Food and drinks are not covered on the land portion of the trip. Gratuities on the land portion of the trip are not included. Trip insurance is not included.

Cabin Categories (you must choose one): We have two categories of cabins reserved to provide booking options for you to choose from (to see ship diagram for cabin space, check https://www.hollandamerica.com). Below pricing is only good until October 14, 2022, and pricing will be adjusted at that time.

• Oceanview Stateroom (Category C) - 2 lower beds, convertible to 1 queen bed, bathtub & shower, approximately 169 - 267 square feet.
• Verandah Staterooms (Category VC) – 2 lower beds, convertible to 1 queen bed, bathtub & shower, sitting area, private verandah, floor to ceiling windows, approximately 213-379 square feet including verandah. If you book this category, the Have It All Package is included at no extra cost. Details of this package are on the Holland America website, but include a credit of $100 for excursions, signature drink package, and WiFi Surf package.
