PICTURE PARTY, NO FOOLING! Tuesday, April 1, 7:00 pm

If you were on any trip with SSC this year (day, weekend, week-long, bus or air) you may join your fellow trip participants to relive the good times on Tuesday, April 1, at 7 pm at the Susquehanna Club. Bring your pictures, your CDs and yourselves. You supply the smiles; we supply the snacks and some beverages. Directions: From I-83, take exit 39A and turn east onto Lewisberry Road. Proceed approximately 1 mile and turn left onto Old York Road; go 0.5 mile and turn right onto Ross Avenue. Follow Ross Avenue0.8 mile to the gate and show your driver’s license if requested. Please Note! The Defense Depot remains on increased security. Be prepared to present photo ID as enter gate. The Susquehanna Club is on your left before entering the base. We meet on the 2nd floor; disabled-person access ramp is at the rear entrance.

MEMBERSHIP YEAR STARTS APRIL 1

The SSC membership year runs from April 1 to March 31. Your current membership expires on March 31, 2008. If you haven’t renewed yet, please do it today, then watch for your newsletter to have a “09” after your name. Remember, your membership must be current to receive a monthly newsletter and to be eligible to sign up for our trips. The membership renewal form is part of this newsletter. Please fill out completely and send it to the SSC P.O. box with your check. Please make sure we have your current information including name, mailing address, phone number and email address on your application. Also consider volunteering for a club activity. Hurry and renew now so you don’t miss a single newsletter or event!

SPRING BANQUET~ Saturday, April 26

Time is getting short to sign up for the SSC Spring Banquet held on Saturday, April 26, at the Susquehanna Club in New Cumberland. The evening will start with happy hour at 5:30 pm. A buffet-style dinner will be served at 6:30 pm. The big events of the evening will include the introduction of the new Board members and the announcement of the 2008/2009 trip destinations and trip leaders. Music for dancing will be provided by Wild Bill’s Time Machine. The price is $28 per person until the April18 ‘early-bird’ deadline. After April 18, the cost will be $35 per person. So hurry and send your check in to avoid the late charge. Checks are payable to ‘SSC’ and should be sent to Carolyn Eash at 288 Stumpstown Rd., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
