Come out and enjoy SSC’s annual family summer picnic come rain or come shine! The day will feature great food, beverages, 2017 trip sign ups, swimming (weather permitting) and organized activities. This is always a good time to catch up with your friends and make new ones. SSC will provide the meat, beverages, condiments and plastic/paper products.
To add to the feast, please bring a dish to share according to the first letter of your last name as follows: A thru I – casserole or side dish; J thru Q – appetizer; R thru Z – dessert. Or, pay an extra $8 if you do not wish to bring a dish to share.
Trip applications for our 2017 winter trips and deposits will be accepted at the picnic after 12 noon. Applications with deposits must either be hand-delivered to the trip leader at the picnic or postmarked between June 11 and June 18, 2016; all applications meeting these criteria will have equivalent eligibility in case a trip is over-subscribed and a lottery is necessary. You must be a current member to sign up for a trip.
Please be aware that "Early Bird" picnic pricing is in effect only through June 11. On June 12, all prices increase by $5.
For our members to purchase tickets online at members-only prices, you must log in to our website before registering and paying for picnic tickets.
Alternately, you can send your check made payable to "SSC" to Sharon Royer, 281 Worchester Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17111. If paying for multiple attendees, please provide names of all guests and if paying for Youth tickets, please also provide their age.
We always need volunteers; volunteering is a way to give back to your club.
