Trip Details: It’s VERMONT! What more needs to be said? Join a bus full of your skier and rider friends for a delightful trip to beautiful Okemo Mountain in Vermont. We will depart on Sunday, January 9 for a comfortable ride in our luxury motor coach with the usual array of refreshments. On Monday and Tuesday we will ski and ride the expanses of Okemo Mountain. Early on Wednesday morning, January 12, we’ll travel down the road to Stratton Mountain for our finale. Then Wednesday night we’ll cruise back home.
The Jackson Gore Inn will be our home for three nights. Breakfasts are included. All units are ski- in/out. Jackson Gore Village guests have access to all on-site amenities - outdoor heated pool, 2 outdoor hot tubs, indoor hot tub, steam room, sauna, The Spring House, game room, and on-site restaurants. Okemo has 601 acres of terrain, 113 slopes, trails and glades Novice 31% (35 trails) Intermediate 43% (49 trails) Advanced and Expert 26% (29 trails). Vertical Drop: 2,200 feet (highest in Southern VT), Base Elevation: 1,144 feet, Summit Elevation: 3,344 feet. Longest trail: 4 1/2 miles. For us snowboarders there are two Super Pipes, a Mini Halfpipe for kids and beginners, three terrain parks and the Blind Faith Boarder Cross Park. There are five Mountain Areas including the Jackson Gore Peak, Solitude Peak, South Face, Glades Peak and South Ridge area. There are 18 lifts including 9 quad chairs (5 high-speed quads), 3 triple chairs and 6 surface lifts. Snowmaking covers 95% of the terrain. The quaint village of Ludlow is just a short walking distance away.
