Jackson Hole has always been about the terrain: huge bowls, steep chutes, limitless backcountry, and lots of vertical and deep powder. With 2,500 acres of in-bound skiing, epic annual snowfall averaging 459 inches, and a 4,139 ft. vertical, this is a skier’s dream. Summit Elevation:10,450 ft. Base Elevation: 6,311 ft. The resort boasts 12 bowls with deep cowboy powder, and with its 100 passenger Tram, 8 person Gondola, and 6 high-speed quads, it services 10% beginner, 40% intermediate, and 50% expert terrain. A variety of groomed runs and open bowls are also available for beginners and intermediates.  A super-pipe and terrain park are available for both skiers and snowboarders. The dining on this mountain is amazing. And If you need a break from skiing you can spend the day exploring Yellowstone, snowmobiling or dog-sledding, just to name a few. In addition, the town of Jackson has many great restaurants, shops, galleries, and western night-life.

 

Lodging is at the luxurous slopeside Teton Mountain Lodge with ski-in convenience. Amenities include: wireless internet, ski storage and tuning, in-room boot dryers, fitness center, 24-person rooftop hot tub, Cascade Restaurant & Bar serving three meals daily, and apres ski (the local’s favorite), and the Solitude Spa.
