With >500 inches/year of the light, fluffy stuff, Utah’s Snowbird/Alta is one of the most snow-reliable destinations this early in the season! If you want to experience powder paradise, steeps that never stop, European vistas without the European hassles, and North America’s first and only skier tunnel with its magic carpet, this is the trip for you! Ski Snowbird and Alta as one huge resort – the combined skiable terrain is nearly 5,000 acres! Snowbird was voted #1 best snow in Skiing Magazine’s 2009 resort ranking. Our basic package price of $1,785 per person double occupancy includes roundtrip air on Delta from Harrisburg, ground transfers, porterage, 7 nights lodging at SSC’s favorite ski-in/ski-out Cliff Lodge, daily full buffet breakfasts, welcome party, farewell pizza party, and 6-day lift pass at Snowbird. Skiers can upgrade their lift pass to a dual Snowbird/Alta 6-day lift ticket for an additional $100 (Alta still does not permit snowboarding). Children under twelve stay and ski/ride free! Hotel amenities include complimentary ski lockers, on-site ski rental & repair, heated outdoor pool, three hot tubs, fitness center, game room, free wireless internet access, coffeemaker, hair dryer and mini-fridge in every room, four restaurants, a sushi bar and two lounge bars with live entertainment. Other perks for our members include a complimentary mountain tour and “Powder Perks” discount booklet, discounted access to the Cliff Spa (with a rooftop 15-meter pool, 40-person hot tub and 360º views!), and 20% off rental equipment at Cliff Sports.
